All Western Australian public schools are reviewed by the Department of Education’s Public School Accountability directorate. The review acknowledges the achievements of the school and gives feedback to support the Principal and staff with improvement planning. Newborough Primary School aligns the School Review in reviewing and assisting with the construction of the next Business Plan.
Each year the principal compiles an Annual Report highlighting key components of the school’s performance from the previous year. This includes a snapshot summary of student numbers and characteristics, student performance and progress, workforce, actions from the Business Plan, survey data, future directions and financial summary. The Annual Report is a Department requirement for all schools and is made publicly available on the school’s website and Schools Online from the end of term one each year.
